Privacy Policy

We only collect what we need to run the marketplace:

• Your account: name, email address, phone number and role (salesperson or company). Passwords are stored only as a one-way hash.
• Salesperson applications: city, state, sales experience, industry, and the type and number of a government ID, used to verify who you are before approval.
• Company profiles: company name, description, industry and website.
• Customer details on orders:when a salesperson places an order, they enter the customer's name, phone number, delivery address and, optionally, email, business name and GST number. The customer receives a one-time code to confirm the order.
• Orders and money: orders, commissions, wallet balances, settlements and payout requests.
• Payout details: the bank account (holder name, account number, IFSC) or UPI ID where you want to be paid. Account numbers are shown back to you only in masked form.
• Payments: handled by Razorpay. We never see or store card numbers, UPI PINs or net-banking passwords; we receive only the payment status and reference.
• What you upload or write to us: product images, payment or invoice photos, support tickets and disputes.
• Technical data: IP address, device and browser type, and sign-in sessions, used to keep accounts secure; and visits through referral links, used to credit the right salesperson.

The app asks for a permission only when you use the feature that needs it:

• Camera: to photograph a product or payment proof, or scan a barcode. Nothing is captured unless you take the picture.
• Photos: only the images you pick are read and uploaded.
• Contacts: when you choose a customer from your contacts, the app reads only that one contact to fill in the order form. It never reads or uploads your address book.
• Face ID or fingerprint: if you turn on app lock, your phone checks it. We never receive any biometric data.

Sign-in tokens are kept in your phone's secure storage (Keychain on iOS, Keystore on Android).

• To run orders end to end: customer confirmation, company acceptance, payment, fulfilment and delivery.
• To calculate and pay commissions and settlements.
• To prevent fraud, for example by spotting duplicate or high-risk orders.
• To send one-time codes, order updates and other service messages by SMS, email and in-app notification.
• To answer support requests and resolve disputes.
• To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.

We do not sell personal data. We share it only as needed to provide the service:

• The other side of an order: a company sees the orders placed for its products, with the customer details needed to deliver them; a salesperson sees their own orders.
• Service providers who process data on our behalf: Razorpay (payments and payouts), MSG91 (SMS, one-time codes and email) and Amazon Web Services (hosting).
• Authorities, when the law requires it.

We keep your information while your account is open. When you delete your account, we remove or anonymise your personal details and sign you out everywhere. Order, payment, commission and tax records are kept for as long as Indian tax and accounting law requires, with your name and contact details removed from your account.

• See and correct your details from your account or profile settings, or by writing to us.
• Delete your account in the app under Account → Delete account, or on the web; see how to delete your account.
• Withdraw consent or ask a question about your data by emailing info@pickmysale.com. We reply within 30 days.

All traffic is encrypted with HTTPS, passwords are hashed, payout account numbers are masked, and access to personal data is limited to what each role needs. No system is perfectly secure; if we learn of a breach that affects you, we will tell you.

PickMySale is not meant for children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has given us personal data, email info@pickmysale.com and we will remove it.

If we change this policy, we will update the date above, and tell you in the app or by email before a significant change takes effect.
